Sellersburg Celebrates! Prince and Princess Contest

The 4rd Annual Sellersburg Celebrates Prince and Princess contest will be held on August 20 at 5:30PM. The event will
be held in the air conditioned Silver Creek High School auditorium. The contest is open to boys and girls who are age four through seven years old on August 1, 2010. In addition, there will be a competition for girls age 8-12 on August 1. This will follow the Prince and Princess contest.
Entrance fee is $20.00 through July 20. After July 20, entry fees will increase to $25. There is a $5 discount for siblings. Admission to the contest is $2.00. Children aged 10 and under are free.
Dress for the contest is "Sunday Best" - no bling or glitz for the girls.
Dressy shorts or slacks and comparable shirt for the boys.
Contestants will be judged on personality, dress for the occassion, etc.
The Prince and Princess and all other contestants will ride on the parade float on Saturday morning.
Contestants are invited to obtain sponsors who will be acknowledged at the contest.
All contestants will be presented with an engraved trophy. The Prince and Princess will also receive a crown and gifts.
